MUBucks is a convenient form of payment that you can use around Oxford. You can even use it for delivery. Read through the questions below to find out more.

What is MUBucks?
MUBucks is an off-campus debit account that resides on your Miami University ID card. With MUBucks, you will be able to make purchases at participating merchants using only your Miami ID card.
How does MUBucks work?
When you signup for MUBucks, the funds you place into the account are automatically attached to your ID card. Simply give your Miami ID to the merchant and your purchase will be deducted from your account.

MUBucks may be used at all participating merchants. For a complete list, click here.
How do I know how much I have spent?
Whenever you use your MUBucks account, your remaining balance will print on the receipt. You may also log into your account online to reveiw your transactions, see your available balance and add additional funds.
Are there any restrictions on what may be purchased with MUBucks?
The MUBucks account may be used to purchase all sorts of items from school supplies to meals to copies. The one thing you may not purchase with MUBucks is alcohol. Students and parents who use the account have found this to work out really well. Parents know their money is going towards things needed for school!
What happens with the money in my account at the end of the semester?
The money that is placed in your MUBucks account will carry over from semester to semester and school year to school year as long as the account is used once every six months.
What happens with the money in my account at the end of the school year?
The money left in your account will carry over to the next school year. If you are going to stay in Oxford, you will be able to use your account during the summer months.
How do I signup for MUBucks?
You can signup for your MUBucks account online, over the phone by calling 513-523-3663 or by visiting the meal plan office in the Shriver Center and filling out an application form. Signing up is easy and once completed, you will be able to use your Miami ID card at all of your favorite off campus locations!
How do I add more money to my MUBucks account?
Money can be added to your MUBucks account online or over the phone by calling 513-523-3663. It is easy for Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa or any one to add money to your account.
Is MUBucks the Same as MuLaa?
While both MUBucks and the MuLaa are attached to the Miami ID card, they are not the same. MuLaa is a pre-paid account that is attached to the MiamiID card and may be used only on campus. MUBucks is a pre-paid account attached to the Miami ID card and may be used only off campus and at the Miami University Bookstore..
Can I use MUBucks on campus?
The MU Bucks account may only be used OFF campus and at the Miami University Bookstore to make purchases. There are several on campus accounts such as MuLaa for on campus use.
Can I transfer money out of my MUBucks account?
Once funds are placed into your MUBucks account, they may not be transfered out of the account. They will carry over from semester to semester and school year to school year as long as the account is used once every six months.
